Last night, while doing the lab for cs152, I applied several positions from Callisto. I didn't expect that they would contact me so soon. I got an email from Nathalie, Clearwell System when I was doing the lab this afternoon.
Man, I didn't have time to take a look at the description about the job listing by Clearwell, as well as their website. When I got a call from Nathalie, I was so nervous. When she asked me what their top product, I was like "wtf?...". Done!
This was my first phone interview. hahaha....
Anyway, I learned something from this. Always do a little research about the company that you wanna apply for a position. Simple but important!

A busy day is coming

Taking 23 units is tough for me. Gonna leave home at 7:30 am tomorrow and spend 11 hours at school, damn hard! I don’t why I am taking so many classes this semester. Maybe I just wanna show my friends that I’m super man??? Or I want to challenge myself? ...

5 minutes.... I know why... Let me tell you a story about my uncle....

His name is Loc. He came to America in 1991 I think. At that time, not many Vietnamese living in California, so Vietnamese didn’t get much help like we do now. His family (him, his parents and his 5 siblings) couldn’t get enough money for renting a house. Therefore, all of them had to live in my other grand uncle’s house. Can you image 8 adults had to live in a 80 square feet room? Uncle Loc had to sleep on sofa. Luckily he was? No, he could only sit and sleep, he couldn’t lay down because he is afraid of not able to get up the next morning. During the first 2 years, he had to work full time (50-70 hours/week) to support his family and he went to college also. He told me that he used to take up to 23-24 units a semester. Crazy studying and working machine then. At that time he was about 28-30. What do you think about that? Working hard and study crazy but he was the one who had the second highest GPA when he graduate from Cal Poly Pomona. He is an engineer now, building software for the cellphone...

Now you know why I’m taking 23 units this semester. I always think that I can do whatever other people can. Even if I can’t succeed like they do, but at least I give myself a chance to try, a gold to reach....

Testing Post2Blog

I just downloaded a cool program from Give-away of the day named Post2Blog. Just wanna try this :D

My English is not so good, and I think this is one of the good ways to improve my writing skill.
English is my second language, so please don't laugh when you catch my dumb mistake or using such a stupid word due to my poor vocabulary.
I don't know why I decide to start my blog in such a busy time like this. I'm taking 23 units in the college this Spring. It's really hard for me to handle all the study, but I like challenges
Got home at 7:15 pm and watched "Crash" for my English 101. What a good movie I haven't seen for a long time. It is about racism. Believe me, if you don't cry while watching it, I'll give you 20$. Touch movie though! Have you ever seen a 5-year-old girl seeing his father being getting shot? What would she do? Cry? Go watch the movie and see what happens.
By the way, I am Thai.
